Unable to add money via UPI? Here’s what to do

UPI is one of the modes of payment that Paytm accepts to add money to your Paytm wallet. There might be times where you would not be able to add money to your wallet using this mode. Listed below are some of the reasons:

  • You may be entering an incorrect mPIN
  • Your bank may have put daily limits on UPI transactions
  • You may have insufficient balance in your account
  • NPCI or your bank may be down right now
  • Do note that we do not support add money through collect requests 


We advise, you get in touch with your bank first and if you still face issues adding money, please share the details of the error message being displayed on the screen and we'll have it checked for you.
