Money deducted from wallet but not added to bank account

At Paytm, we allow our customers to transfer money from their Paytm Wallet to any other bank account as and when they wish to. The amount in your wallet could either be the amount you received from any other Paytm user or the cashbacks you received by paying through Paytm. Or simply, the money added by you to your Paytm wallet.

Transferring money from your Paytm Wallet to your bank account is an easy and instant process. However, in the event where the amount is not added to the recipient’s bank account, please don’t panic! Here is what you need to keep in mind to resolve it.

  • Check your wallet passbook for the transaction in question
  • Check the recipient details and ensure that the amount has been transferred to the right account
  • In a rare case where the transaction is pending, do note that it may take upto 3 days for the amount to credited successfully
  • For successful transactions, please note the bank transaction ID and check with your bank for the latest status
